First Weekend

Jedd's parents surprised us and drove in from Raleigh on Friday. They had to drive back Sunday but it was good to see them.

More Baby

Killing Time

Being without power forced us to find things to do outside the house...ALL DAY

But the only thing worse than a playground is a crowded playground. We only stayed here for about fifteen minutes.

To be fair, here's a picture taken two days prior. I wasn't really in the mood for playgrounds.

My Sister Had a Birthday Party FOR HER DOG

It was actually pretty cute what with all the dogs eating birthday cake and stuff.

A Little Taste

Here's a quick nibble for you, I know everyone's dying to see this new baby! Ziva Arie was born Wednesday 9/17 at 7:37pm after a 9am induction. She was face up so delivery was a little harder but not too bad. She was 8lbs 3.7oz and 22.25 inches long. She is doing GREAT. She's nursing really well and is very alert. The nurses commented that we needed to find a name that meant "bright eyes" because she was so alert and focused. Ziva means "bright or radiant" in Hebrew so it was the clear winner!
We got our power back on Thursday night and came home Friday morning so I might just kiss the Duke Energy guy next time he's here! Anyway, here she is. Plenty more to come as I find spare minutes here and there.
